lovely island views but a bit pebblie to walk on .got to see turtles and the sea was lovly and warm.you could walk out very far before it got to deep aswell

If you want to get away from the crowd-head west towards the end of the beach towards agois sostis. Much calmer there and lovely bars looking out towards the sea.

disliked the tiny little bits of litter we very infrequently came acrosss, but thats easily solved, pick it up innit... besides that a truly magical place .... laganas sagapo x

The beach is at the end of Laganas strip...there are cars parked and make the sand grey.. Not very appealing for a Med holiday! Better off staying around the pool!

Only beach in europe (for as far as i know) where you can see turtles that close to the beach. Put on some flippers and 'hunt' for turtles. Make sure you bring an underwater camera!

Very busy beach, good selection of bars along the beach, a lot of "Touts" selling all sorts of rubbish from DVD's to watches and fruit salad. Not very relaxing, as others have said there are far nicer beaches on the island, this beach just appears to be the beach that people crash on to recover from the previous night.

cameo island is a must see!! to the right of laganas beach, 4 euro but lovely and u get a drink with that and kids free, zanta plaza is the best family run hotel near this beach.

Thankfully quiet at this time of year, but it's far from being the best beach.

Not bad, very shallow and not too rocky but quite narrow in places.
