Road to the falls is really poor so better use motorbike or 4 wheel drive SUV reach the parking lot. Stairs to the falls down maybe 70 meters are dangerous and slipery so you need nice shoes, water and good physical fit. But falls are really worth of visiting and amaizingly beautiful.

good to see the water fall and power plant. Easy to get ride from Gaisano Mall, resonable charges.

Tinago in Tagalog means "hid" or "hide" - and indeed Tinago Falls is one of the hidden treasures of the Philippines. One of the most beautiful falls I've ever... More

Going here from Cagayan de Oro is quite tiring because of the distance. Getting to the falls will require a short drive from the main street and a short trek [around 15 minutes, descending]. This has got to be the MOST beautiful falls I've ever seen in the Philippines. This has the bluest water [and not the color of soil]... More

Tinago Falls is my favorite so far. You need to traverse over 500 steps of stairs to get to the falls so wear your most comfortable footwear. I love its cold clear water and the small cave where one can enter and explore. Be sure to bring some food and water because I am sure that you will get hungry... More
