The lake was totally frozen looking ver beautiful and looked like a skiing spot, just a short while from Nathu La Pass

the ride from gangtok to the lake was not very comfortable as the roads are not good,but the view is good and feel worth taking the pain to go to the lake

It is a amazing lake at that height, but it is a little too crowded for my liking.

Only come here if you have never seen snow and want to. It is cold and treacherous to get here and not much to see once there.

When i viisted that place, I was totally amazed by seeing its beauty...there wasn't a single drop of water, only ice and snow was there..temp was about -5*C.. lots of honeymoon couple were there..we enjoyed a lot there in snow...i advised not to se yalk service as they are too expensive and unsafe...its better to walk instead of using yalk...
