Great little museum that will help a visitor understand Penang and it's history. Well worth an hour or more. The only negative is that he colour of the text used in descriptions needs to be changed as it is often difficult to read. E.G. Orange text on a brown photo. more

The Penang Museum is a small but friendly museum which outlines the history and unique cultures that make up Penang. There are historical exhibits on the ethnic groups, notably the elaborate customs of the Straits Chinese or Peranakans, and the indigenous population.
