If you are serious about your scuba diving (or, obviously, interested in freediving) this is a must do. Unparalleled value for the cost of course. Collecting C-cards may not make you a competent scuba diver, but I promise this course will. Come with an open mind and you will learn a lot. Combine it with your scuba vacation in Moalboal... More

It's been thoroughly described in previous reviews, just adding this one to confirm that Freediving Philippines with Wolfgang is still top notch. If you're into surfing, maybe a course is something for you. I learned to be much more at ease underwater, out there in the blue. The breathing (and breath holding) techniques are very helpful and I managed to... More

I've been interested in Freediving since 2008 and back then only a few people know what is Freediving in the Philippines. I did some research and found Freediving-Philippines on the internet and I saw videos of Wolfgang freediving and then I knew I had to meet this guy and be a student. I was able to take the course on... More

I took freediving lessons because my friends and I frequent the beach for snorkeling --- I wanted to improve my depth and breath hold. But freediving, as I learned from the lessons, was more than that. I've learned so much from Wolfgang about the sport. More than the basics and safety, I gained more confidence being underwater, fell in love... More

I spent a year in the Philippines, made a PADI OWD and liked it, for sure. But all that changed when Wolfgang introduced me to the world beyond expensive equipment and astronaut like underwater experiences. As everybody I had dared some deeper dips (3-5m) into the water occasionally, but I could never have imagined the progress I made in this... More

I wanted some real adventure and freediving seemed pretty exciting to me, and it was! Though I had little confidence I'd be able to do considering I was smoking a lot as well as drinking quite often. I could hold my breath about 45seconds before this training. After a few hours and specific breathing exercises, instruction and practice I was... More

In short: This was amazing and if you get the chance you MUST do it. More detail below. I did an "Open Water Freediving" course in January 2011 and it was one of the best things I've ever done. I was completely new to freediving but I was stunned at what I was able to achieve in such a short... More

I've joined an advanced freediving course and learend a lot. Wolfgang Dafert is an uncomplicated, creative and good teacher and I was very happy about my advances. The dive sites around moalboal are outstanding. I've also joined a canyoning tour at the Kawasan Falls which was really an adventure. Summary: great fun.

Two days of training & practice with a very experienced free-diving instructor. This was my first time in a wet-suit, having never even done a scuba/padi course before. On the first day we started off with theory and the importance of safety. Within a short-time we were in the pool practising breathing techniques and breath-holding in the pool. After lunch... More

Very nice resort. Rooms are awesome but only limited occupants per room. i hope they can lift the restrictions. The foods are great a bit pricey but great taste. The new pool is huge and I love it. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The beach is nice though rocky in some areas. Corals can be seen just few... More

Thx for the review. The maximum occupancy rate for Serena resort will stay. But some of the resorts just very close by have cheaper rooms and rooms are also for bigger groups to save money. Promos ... yes, i will consider that for 2012 especially to encourage more locals. More
