Friendly staff whose delight in their beautiful horses is easy to share!

They were very accommodating of my nervous friend and we had a lovely tour of the Ashford Castle grounds and our guide told us so much about the history of the castle and the area.

Can't beat the scenery. This is not "follow the leader".

Loved the horses and the experience of being so close to such a magnificent animal - but that's where it ends. The facility is poor and untidy. The staff show about as much enthusiasm as a dying snail - was a major turnoff and slightly ruined the experience - certainly not worth what they charge.

The trail was nice, however the horses were not ready to go out. Mine kept scratching his back (meaning trying to get under the saddle) had not been brushed and was probably itchy. The people who run it are so nice, they went out of their way to get us a ride. Family run business. Learn some great info on the area. Wonderful to our kids. We loved them.
