We had to walk about one mile to get to Playa Sucia. Yet, the walk was totally worth it. Once you see the crystal clear water and white sand, you forget about the long walk. If you want to shorten your walk, please get there extra early.

It is a long and bumpy ride but so worth it. It is beautiful and relatively few people make the trip. The water and view are just wonderful. Bring food and fresh water. There are no bathrooms and no creature comforts just you and the beach.I love it.

A former co-worker told me about this beach. During my trip in the summer of 2009 to Puerto Rico I was touring the Island.
