Great place to get a birds eye view of Macau. We were there a few years ago and at the time the amount of construction is amazing.
Went to Macau Tower yesterday did the bungy jump and the sky-walk. I must say this is the main highlights of Macau Tower. Sure, if you go up to the 58th storey (indoor observation deck) and the 61st storey (outdoor observation deck), you can enjoy the panoramic view of Macau city. However, there is no kicks in doing this and... More
Great views from both the indoor and outdoor viewing deck, good way to get your bearings and see the different sides of Macau. We were lucky enough to be up there in time to see a bungee jump and sky walk. Many hotel shuttles go to/from the tower.
Let's you see all over Macau which is great for photos on a clear day. Doing any of the activities offered at the top of the tower is well worth it. Getting a picture of you with someone bungee jumping in the background always makes for a good laugh.
It was nice going there - we had very good views, and there was a relaxed atmosphere. We got to take lots of pictures - this is a good place to go to if you are eager to take pictures. There were also stalls with food and even a restaurant or two. We did not eat in a restaurant there,... More
First... plan your visit on a clear day. Considering the climate of Macau, this miight be tough. Unlike the other towers I visited in other cities, the Macau tower is the only one with additional activities. Atleast do the walking activity. You can skip the activity to scale the top of the tower if you are not upto it. And... More
Difficult to give points to this one as ultimately it's a tower with shops, restaurants and other tourist amenities. Towers offer great views and if you are lucky with the weather this view is interesting as you can see all Macau plus some of China as well as the new land which China has just given to Macau to develop.... As part of a work team building exercise we went to the outdoor viewing platform at the top of Macau Tower. Most of the team took part in the "SkyWalk" where you are harnessed to an overhead rail, and walk around a ring on the outside of the building (233m above the ground - no handrail). A select few brave... More
Just went up to the top for a look and found a thriving bungi-jumping business with lots of thumping music and a surprising number of mostly young people with nothing better to do with $300US than spend it on a 6 second jump. Fun to watch them go over though. View was a bit hazy but you can see the... More
We really enjoyed our visit to Macau tower. It is the twin sister of Auckland's Sky Tower, and offers amazing 360 degree views over Macau. We also did a Sky walk around the outer edge of the tower, and some of our group did the Bungy Jump also. There are shops and restaurants in the tower to visit afterwards too.
