We visited the Lou Lim leoc Garden (no entrance fee), east of the main Historic Center of Macau attractions, this past weekend during the Chinese New Year holiday and were very happy with this attraction. While not a World Heritage attraction in Macau, we felt this garden was very impressive and well worth seeking out.

An old-fashioned, slightly surreal restored early 20th-c. walled Chinese garden right in the middle of downtown Macau. Definitely worth a visit, just for the atmosphere.

I discovered this garden a bit too late, i'm afraid, so I've been there only once, unfortunatelly. I say this because it's a beautiful place, very zen, very asian. There's green everywhere, and also this beautiful constructions, stactues, and lakes, etc. I really enjoyed it there, and it's free, which is a bless considering its beauty!
