A very nice experience. Initially we could not even see the waterfall because of the clouds. We could only hear them. As the clouds cleared we saw a very beautiful sight. The view was very nice.
Take a taxi from Shillong, should not cost more than Rs 1500 by the usual Maruti 800 local taxi, for a trip to Cheerapunjee,...

Must go [ everyone goes ] . Drop of over 1000 feet makes this one of the highest falls in the world . Covered viewing balcony . Souvenir shops selling Cinnamon sticks at Rs 20 per packet . Nominal entry . Lady shouting pineapples at the parking lot shop - very delicious must try fruit .
