We started the hike to the Living Root Bridges from the Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort. The hike involves walking along the road, ascending and descending about 3000+ steps each way (some really steep) going through 3 remote villages in the valley and slopes of Khasi Hills. Trek was awesome except for the fact it wasnt really a trek - it was climb up and down two thousand steps!! but, at the end of it the bridges are awesome to see.. and if you hike 20 mins more - a crystal clear pure blue - so blue lagoon awaits you which you ll never want to get... More

If you gotta a wishlist of places to see during your life time and you love trekking I would seriously suggest you this. Amidst the nature of lies an awesome beauty.
