The place was windy and chilly but our short stopover at this place was well worth the inconvenience. Do not forget to visit the harbor for refreshments as this place provides some of the best photographic opportunities.

This is the place where the two oceans meet...Indian and Atlantic...the most southern point in Africa. This beautiful little town is a bit off the beaten track, but definitely worth the visit. Go see the point where the two oceans meet, the shipwreck and lighthouse. The lighthouse has steep little ladders (to test your nerves) taking you to the very... More

Officially Cape Agulhas is the place where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet, and not the "two oceans" as believed at the Cape Point, near Cape Town (for publicity reasons). Cape Agulhas is the southernmost tip of Africa. Worth the visit to take a photo at the stone monument to show you were there. Do visit the light house as... More

This place is a bit off the N2 (about 100 kms) if you are traveling from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town... Once you get there you will be happy you took the effort! Its beautiful!! Seeing the two oceans from a single point is an experience... The food at the lighthouse cafe is awesome! Don't miss it. Make it there... More

Although a bit out of the way this was something I had wanted to do for many years, stand on the southern most tip of the continent of Africa. Wow! Not many can lay claim to this. I enjoyed my stay and the sleepy atmosphere of the place. A great break from the frantic pace of the usual sightseeing vacation.... More

I really liked this place. It is indeed far away, but this is what makes it special: one of the most remote places on Earth. I mean in how many other places you can see two oceans at once? The place itself is very beautiful, there are rocky beaches but also white sanded beaches nearby and a very particular architecture,... More

if you're doing the garden route, before cape town there is the cape agulhas, the city near the cape is pretty, the cape itselft is cool also but for what it is, I think is not worth it the detour (like 150 km) just to the the "union" of two oceans. I mean there is this monument but thats it,... More
