The actual beach is clean and pretty but the surrounding area is really ugly and tacky

Beautiful little bay. Very pretty. Had lifeguards on it, but no sun loungers or umbrellas to hire. Overlooked by a little castle on the hill, which was a nice walk up to it. loads of little restaurants and cafes surrounding the bay.

lovely little cove, only 10 minute walk from hotel. sorry did not find it sooner. Good little market on a Saturday morning. Nothing more to say

La Cala as its locally known is just a major tourist/holiday home hell..... sadly they have massively overbuilt on the outskirts of Benidorm, and this tiny bay has suffered. The beach is so tiny, and in summer you'd be hard pressed to find an inch of sand spare for your towel. The businesses around rely on tourism, as many of...
