A beautiful walk around the lake, The bike tours are also great. Staff are very helpful at the bike hire. Told us the best routes, gave us helmets etc, lovely day out.

just returned from Bewl Water they have taken on board what people have said and entry to the park is now a lot cheaper. We as a family of 4 hired bikes and were told by the very friendly and helpful staff that it was muddy due to weeks of rain, they showed us the parts to be careful in... More

There is a large expanse of reservoir here, there is a trail that goes around the whole place. It is popular with cyclists and can be cycled in a few hours and is fairly flat. There is also a sailing club for those that like to be out on the water.

I just got back form a 'day out' at Bewl Water with my two girls aged 14 and 10. Firstly we had to pay £9 to get in ... basically to park. We then decided that the best way to see around the reservoir was to cycle. It cost £38 to hire three bikes. The lady told us it was... More

Bewl water is lovely nestled in the Kent side of the Kent Sussex border, the cycle ride around the water is great for families and provides an excellent family outdoors activity. The facilities do not live up to the natural attractions status however, tea and coffee from a machine, poor quality food, nothing interesting about the environment or wildlife, plus... More

Dreadful Fishery stocked with poor floppy soggy trout, some soft fighting pike and perch. Awful people who run the show and guess what the water levels are the same as several years ago, so don't believe the properganda from the water companies its just down to 500% more houses in the south coast. Go compare the rainfall over 30 years... More

What a great place for walking, cycling, sailing, horse riding or for a picnic by the lake. This place is Kent at it's most magnificent, stunning veiws of Kent and Sussex well maintained by friendly park rangers. I cannot believe that I have never been here before.

We decided to go to Bewl Water during the Easter school holidays. After looking at the website it looked like there was plenty to do for the children, albeit after having paid £15 to enter the activities were all chargeable. Anyway, I rang ahead first to be told the activities would be on from 12 noon but dependent on the... More
