I live in the city that gets its water. It was only fair to see the pipeline trail. So much history

If I had the time I may have pulled in along the way to see in more detail, just marveled at it's length out the window for the 600km journey

If you get the book and CD put out by the National Trust your trip will be greatly enhanced by all the very well presented back ground information. This is a long trail, from the hills of Perth, to kalgoorlie, but well worth it if you love to hear about and see one of the highlights of WAs history right... More

Great walks, well laid out and very interesting facts tracing WA's water pipeline & water supply history. It is amazing the achievements of this era.

Returned from Kalgoorie to Perth following the Golden Pipeling Trail. The museum was excellent. $3 entry and free drink. Our guide was very knowledgable and informative. The social history well presented and the Meckering Earthquake House and experience we will not forget. If you make one stop on the Great Eastern Highway make sure it is this one.
