We chose to snowboard in Furano instead of Niseko because of what we read about the influx of foreigners in Niseko (with us being non-Japanese what irony). We did not visit the Furano zone, but the Kitanomine zone had plenty of nice wide beginner runs. The staff were very cheerful and friendly, and on the 2 days we were on...
