Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Bonn area. It's ten minutes by train from Bonn main railway station. An beautiful castle and gardens in the middle of nowhere are a great place for a relaxing and cultural time. The interiors are impressive and the history of the place very entertaining. Biggest problem: It's located about 40 mins away from the Cologne altstadt. But you can easily manage it by subway. On the outside, nothing spectacular, looks like a regular schloss. The inside, on the other hand, had some really spectacular rooms. The first few rooms are nice but nothing superamazing. Wait till you get to the staircase to the second... more
