There's a kite festival coming up next month (June) and I would like to see Margam Park filled with happy people and lots of colourful kites. The stately home and grounds are superb. I haven't eaten in the orangery yet but it is another impressive buildings. The gardens are lovely. More

Cheap to get in (only £3.90 for car parking and no individual entrance fees). Scenic surroundings with a lake, castle remains and a farm - good for kids. Small gift shop and a couple of places to eat in the park. More
