It is very quiet island, friendly children and people. Good to relax for few days

Take the ferry across the Mekong and hire a bike for $1 at boat landing. Cycle around, actually I did not find the people to be as friendly as other places in Cambodia. You can stay the night here as there are 2 homestays. Probably not as good as the the island near Kampong Cham.

Not much to do on the island but a beautiful place for a stroll or a bicycle ride. The most amazing thing: no rubbish on the island! Beautiful Mekong views, nice people and lots of ducks, chicken, dogs and cats

East to get to from Kratie town, this island takes you quickly into rural Cambodian life. You can hire bicycles and even take a horse and cart tour of the island with one of the locals. In the dry season the river recedes leaving sandy beaches all around the island and huts provide shade after swimming near the ferry port.
