The hot springs were quite hot. They are contained in a man-made pool. Typical tourist hot springs.

At first the water feels too hot but you will get used to it in a minute. I actually fall asleep after 5 minutes in the water! A great way to relax those aching muscles and SUNBURNED skin at the end of the day! Ask your boatmen to schedule this last in your day's itinerary.

We went to maquinit hot spring on the first night of out visit in Coron and i would say its amazing to have this kind of hot spring as most of the hot springs here in the Philippines are usually located near a volcano.

The entrance fee isn't much and there's a few clean bathroom areas as well as picnic areas and stores for food and beer. Outside drinks are not allowed.... More

Three big pools with hot water and algae, no showers where to wash the salty and somehow stinky water away. To be honest the experience was awful. Definitely not worth it.
