Just got back from a great holiday in Zante and the Lavante Speedboat excursion was definitely a big highlight of our trip. Both excursions were great but if I were to pick one I would say the afternoon boattrip excelled and Captain Spiros was a great charater, enjoy! more

We went on the Zante Levante boat trip both on the morning trip to the shipwreck and again a few days later to the turtles. We booked via the stand on the way to Tsilivi beach. There is also another at Tsilivi harbour. We did the Blue Caves and Shipwreck trip and absolutely loved it! There were four of us, two teenagers and two adults. Spiros and his wife booked us a taxi from our hotel to the harbour at no extra cost to us....and... more

I can only base my comments on my experience of the trip but I thought the Captain was reckless in his stewardship of the boat reversing into low caves without warning the passengers of the rocks which could easily have struck them. The captain's jovial nature hides another side to him which was not so pleasant particularly his over fondness... more

In the little harbour of Tsilivi you will find an parasol with two dutch ladies (who speak english very well). There you can book fantastic (speed)boattrips to the caves, sea turtles and the ship wreck. Captain Spiros tells you everything you want to know from his heart. He is wonderfull with kids.
