Absolutely worth seeing. The place in unique in Finland. The mine is deep in cave and there is quite dark and cold.

Tytyri Mine museum, real functioning mine only 30 minutes from Helsinki offers you a great experience 110 meters below sealevel. You gill get familiar with mining history and what mining is today. Museum includes also huge underground gave, where you will see exotic light and sound show for 5 minutes. Mine museum is open for request for groups all year round and for individuals during May-September. Price is 12€/ adult and 6€/ children, guided tour takes about 1,5 hours. The Amazig Race tour visited here 2006!

Really a hidden gem in Lohja. Worth visiting! Kids enjoy this definitely :)

Interesting tour down there 80 meters under ground. We had also nice dinner there but the restaurant is open only for groups by prior reservation.

This is practically old limestone mine used for a century and yet in use at lower levels. If you want to experience mining & underground scapes (some 110 meters below surface) in the most safe way this is one of those. Guides are excellent - language choices you might want to ask ahead.
