a must see if in Oban...incredible really..a ride down into the mountain was incredible and our guide was very informative and funny
really reasonable trip, £6 adult price (may 2012) quick trip down into the mountain, loads of information to take in, and a video to watch when you get back to the visitors centre. probably with a cup of tea at the cafe, the trip will wind away a few hours...... .
Very interesting tour into the mountain - would loved to have seen more (maybe they ought to offer a more in depth tour for an extra charge?). Very nice staff - the bus tour guide especially was very good. Nice gift shop (but amazingly no postcards of the inside of the mountain). Good reasonably priced cafe - nice food. And...

The tour inside the mountain was really interesting. To see what was achieved drilling into the mountain is mind boggling!
expected much more from ads. Short trip (few 100 yards) into mountain and peered thru a window at not very much, then out again.
if passing it is worth the visit .. not expensive and when you have climbed the 2 munroes here it is nice to see the tour
In this modern world of computers, electronic games and theme parks attraction's like Cruachan can too easily be overlooked by the thrill seekers and parent like me wanting to give the kids a good day out. How misguided we can be at times, please seriously consider visiting this Hollow Mountain.

The visitors centre is very interesting and the cafe is clean with reasonably priced food and drinks.Enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate while waiting for the tour to begin. The tour itself was informative and well presented. I would recommend this for oth adults and children
Bright new and shiny gift shop and cafe - a pleasant place to buy tourist tat and enjoy a cup of tea and a cake overlooking the beautiful loch. Tour of the station itself hugely underwhelming. £6.50 each for a 2 minute drive in a bus down a tunnel, to stand at a window overlooking the turbine hall for 5...
