Llansteffan is a gem. A superb example of a Welsh castle, with lots to explore inside and stunning views. The walk up is a bit steep, but I think you can drive some of the way there. Went down after to the village for a yummy fish and chip lunch :-)

A must for visitors with stunning views of the estuary, farmland and a fantastic castle. You have to climb up a long steep hill as parking is a fair distance away so not for people with limited mobility.
llansteffan castle is great have your dinner and watch the waves in Carmarthen bay. Lool accross to Ferryside or kidwelly. On a realy clear day you can even see the Cornish coast. The castle is a short walk from the free carpark and is free to get in. There is lots to do around the castle including walking plant life...
