Its a nice place to visit for an evening or afternoon out. People get first hand authentic experience of Africa. Located just outside nijmegen towards berg en dal and wyler it is also doable on a bicycle. The area and sorroundings are beautiful and the museum itself has a good collection of indoor and outdoor exhibits.

Absolutely first class display of African culture and art in the indoor museum, but all of the descriptions were in Dutch and no English guidebook available. However, you still got a good idea of what was going on. The outdoor village buildings were terrific fun and authentic. The kids loved it. We booked in for the free Music workshop, but...
