Can recommend Stonehaven outdoor pool for an unusual day out! Swim outside in a heated pool. Midnight swims once a week are fun too--swim under the stars!! Only open in summer months.

As a local, I love trips to stonehaven pool. The pool is heated to a comfortable temperature - and the dash to the changing rooms is not as cold as you'd think. Changing rooms are good. Plenty space with warm showers. On a sunny day you can almost convince yourself you are abroad.... well almost!

If any one are planing to visit this place, visit in summer time, that will be very nice and you will love it. Castle is the most attractive place in this, there is some caves at the end. It is one of the best place for to enjoy with children and every family member.

Great day out. Kids got a bit of a shock when they tasted the salt water. But soon learnt to keep their mouth shut!
