Myself and the family decided to head to this farm after checking out their website. It ticked all the boxes for us so off we went on a lovely sunny May weekend. To say we were disappointed is an under statement. The farm is tiny, don't let the website fool you. We had seen everything in 5 mins. Sheds consisted... More

It took us a while to find the farm, there were no signs. We nearly gave up, but I am glad we didn't. It was delightful, a really pleasant, safe environment with just enough to keep young children amused for a couple of hours. Sheep, lambs, goats, kids, a pony, lots of rabbits, numerous breeds of chickens and chicks and... More

I nearly didn't try this place cause of the bad reviews on trip advisor but friends of mine convinced me to go and im so glad we did. Went with 1.5 year old and 4.5 year old and they loved it! Yes its not a super professional commercial run farm, its a lot more rough and ready but there is... More

We visited here over the mid term break with our 3 children and I was shocked as to how disappointing the place was. The toilet was filthy and dingy, the play things were in bad repair and very few to play with. It just seemed that the rides that you had to pay for was the only form of entertainment.... More

I went on a 10EUR deal for a family of 5. It took awhile to find the farm due to poor signposting along the way. Once there, it was underwhelming for the effort we put in driving and searching for it. The kids had fun enough, but there were just few animals: a pig, couple of donkeys, some rabbits that... More

We visited red mountain open farm expecting it to be like Newgrange farm, which we have visited many times. Unfortunately it was nothing like it and the visit was an utterly disappointing and overall dismal experience. The coffee shop and ride on tractors are in a dark, damp shed and some of the toddler ride-ons were broken, with sharp edges.... More

I decided to write this review following the postive visit we had yesterday to Santa in Red Mountain Farm. I had read the number of mixed reviews before the visit and 2 people said that it isn't all that great. From the verbal comments made to me and some of the negative reviews, it appears that they may not have... More

My sister and I brought our 4 children all under the age of 7 to the Halloween event at Red Mountain Open Farrm. We paid a special price for the event but on arrival we discovered that this was basically just an admission charge to the farm and on entering the place, anything worth doing was all extra. I totally... More
