This is the old sugar factory, interesting enough for those who want to see big machines and wonder how sugar is made, and its history. We went through the Sugar museum and was surprised by the amount of information that had been set up inside the old mill. It is much much more that the name suggests as it gives you the social history of the island as well as an insight into the history of the sugar cane industry. It is very well laid out but it is mainly a series of photos and narrative on display boards and would benefit from an audio show or similar.... More

L'aventure du Sucre is indeed interesting since whole Mauritian history stems from the sugar cane industry. So go for it. We've been able to go there for free, thanks to my lovely sister who won us coupons. Laksha u r awesome!
