The Maria Kanon Madonna of Peace Shrine, “The Madonna of Japan” is a rare miyagi rock sculpture of the Virgin Mary in an unusual buddhist style perspective created by the Japanese artist Shinichi Tani. The statue of the Madonna is pretty. Unfortunately the grounds around the statue are poorly maintained.
