If you love horses, the trip was great. People are very friendly. There is no problem to get a tour with the local people. It is cheaper than the cruise. I saved around 60 per person to go in a horse to the waterfalls. more

Each year from January to March, Humpback whales come to court and give birth in the waters of Samana Bay and its surrounding area. We came to the Dominican Republic based on a friends recommendation. After hearing there was whale watching in Samana, we decided to go there, staying in Las Terrenas, about 45 minutes away.
