This was a pleasant suprise! My husband and I had a great time. It looks like Narnia. Fairly flat snow covered trail. Runs along the edge and above the river. 1.5K to get to the falls look out platform. There is another steeper trail from the platform down to more viewing. Slippery and icy in parts. There are trees to hang onto and hand rails in difficult spots as you climb over. I would not recommend it for small children who like to be impulsive and run amuck.

Wonderful beer, lovely people, located on a long established farm in this gorgeous valley. They now have some nice snacking food inhouse as the food truck is away for the winter.

This place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and informative. Thank you for letting me know that a morning ride is better than an afternoon one. My kids rode a horse for the very first time today and they had the time of their lives. The highlight were the horses going into the water. Thank you to the two wranglers that took us for the ride today. Amazing experience and memories to cherish for a lifetime. We will definitely be coming back 😀

Played up here on a busy golf day down in Whistler. Liked the course setup with some really nice holes and problems to solve. Course in great condition, more expensive than its neighbor but probably worth the difference. Good shop and restaurant. Would repeat.

This beautiful and modern building also houses the Pemberton District Community Centre. Many activities take place here. The washrooms also have showers( $3.75). The library has a nice sitting area and WiFI, enough outlets for people to charge their cell phones, tablets.
Nice place to sit and read.

The Pemberton Open Air Museum is small, but growing. They have great plans for adding new buildings and artifacts. The folks there genuinely care about sharing their slice of Canadian frontier history. It is a pleasant attraction to take in if you are in the area.

A huge lake set in the usual stunning surroundings that are a feature of the Canadian lakes and mountains. The lake was partly frozen, partly clear and had a huge natural raft of fallen tree trunks gathered at one end. A really interesting visit

Pemberton to Lillooet via Goldbridge. Dirt/gravel forest service road, took us about 4/5 hours. Be prepared for a dusty car and lots of excitement. This is not a drive for low profie cars, unreliable vehicles or the faint hearted. A full tank of gas is also recommended.

If you are used to off road driving, this route has amazing views. The hotel cafe in Goldbridge is also well worth a visit for its out of time feel and simply being there for recharging in the middle of an exhausting drive.

It was a very nice walk around the lake for almost 30-45 minutes for the distance of 1 mile or approximately 1.5 KM. Most of the walk was on a wood trail above the water which was interesting. There are signs on trees encouraging to do certain workouts while enjoying the walk. Washrooms are available. There a connector trail to Narin falls if you would like more walk.I felt that the water itself there needs more cleaning.

We were lucky enough to see a few black bears way off, on the edge of the clear cut. Signs of deer, grizzly & blackbear were all around. Saw no deer this trip, unlike the last few, but we saw a moose & a grizzly while driving to the site on the Upper South Creek FSR. Note: dogs should be leashed for your safety & theirs!
Background: Meager Creek was closed, except for winter by snowmobile or skis touring, over the Glacier & Icefield.
University of British Columbia's Alma Matter Varsity Outdoor Club completed the Harrison Hut Trail August 2014.
Directions: Drive (4x4) 2 hours/ 64km west from Pemberton Village on Pemberton Meadows Road. It will change into a gravel road, that then becomes the South Creek FSR (Forest Service Road). 40km from the end of asphalt paving the road splits in 2 . Take the South Fork left, uphill onto a logging road for 4 km. The old Logging road & the final 2 km of the South Creek FSR are badly pot-holed. Please don't take the family car. Use 4 x 4 with good ground clearance. Mini SUV's like Subaru-Foresters will bottom-out. Lifted late model pre-1979 2-wheeldrive pickup trucks are fine too, as they have their oil pans & gas tanks lifted up into the chassis.
At the end of the logging road you`ll find the trail head in the old clearcut. After 6 km the VOC Harrison Hut Trail bisects the existing Meager Creek Hotsprings Trail. It`s 3.5 km more to the pools. Because the pools are still officially closed there are no fecal coliform tests being done. Nor are the pools being flushed every month as they were before the slide took out the road. The pools were also cleared of sand every couple of days. Take a folding steel or high end composite shovel & be prepared to dig out a pool before you can use it – cheap plastic or low grade aluminium won`t work. We were also lucky enough to show up just after other hikers had dug out the pools & flushed them. Flushing for at least 3/4 an hr. is best
There is Free camping but there are no established official campsites. Camping is officially banned around the hot spring pools, as the” Meager Creek Hot Springs Recreational Area” is officially designated a “Minimum Impact Site”. Camping in the Valley is forbidden too, due to the ongoing landslide & avalanche danger, of this active volcanic zone. Many camp in the Upper Meager Valley, just inside the tree-line, above the beginning of the clearcut. That’s where we stopped about 1 ½ -2 km from the trail head.

"Must visit" for vodka, gin, and flavoured alcohol aficionados. A small, low-key tasting room in an industrial building almost in Mount Currie. But Tyler, one of the owners, is extremely knowledgeable yet low key with a Masters degree in distilling, including one year "at school" in Scotland. He will explain, in as much detail as you want, all the ingredients that create the fantastic flavours of his company's numerous products. My wife loved the gin, I fell in love with the absinthe, the cacao flavoured liqueur was delicious. We were offered more products, but left ready to go to the Legacy Liquor store in Vancouver, where most of their products are sold.
