This then leads to the museum side, which offers a history of the life of the clergy during the middle ages.Written 23 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SmallestHoboCroydon, UK38 contributionsThis is a fab art gallery/ecclesiastical museum in a stunning building. - Terry MHamilton, Canada4,647 contributionsIt seems to stretch beyond its 135m length. Its pink bricks reflect neoclassicism, dating from 1750. The building commands the Place du Capitole area, now reserved for pedestrians. In additon to being the city hall, it also houses an archestra and an opera company.Written 15 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The gallery is home to not only major European private collections, but also the personal collection of the wealthy Argentine Georges Bemberg, who donated paintings, drawings, sculptures, ancient books and furniture, and for whom the Collection is named after.
TIP: If you are not interested in art, at least check out the Hôtel d’Assezat court yard.
