This working scale model of Fuhlsbüttel airport is not just for children; great detail has been designed into everything from signal lights to all the roads between buildings and hangars. In the shows visitors watch take-offs and landings and learn about radio beacons and many other airport-related technologies. A slideshow a slideshow and a film on the history of the airport are included. Guided tours of the launch fields and hangars are offered, and visits to the open-air observation platform offer a very close look at take-offs and landings from 8am-8pm daily.
