This beautiful church is best known for its Crucifixion triptych by Lucas Cranach the Elder.
A pretty cobblestone street passing through Weimar's picturesque town center.
The house where famous German playwright Friedrich Schiller lived the final years of his life and wrote "William Tell."
Once part of the city wall, this tower is now a student club.
The city's old cobblestone outdoor marketplace.
This museum, connected to his old house, is dedicated to the life and work of Friedrich Schiller, often considered second in the ranks of German literature behind only Goethe.
This historic theater was the local stage where both Goethe and Schiller directed their performances.
