Taormina has a pounding heart: the Mocambo. Founded in June 1952 by Mr. Carmelino Fichera, a man whose greatest wish was to create an ideal gathering place for all those who frequented and loved Taormina. He sought to offer his patrons a real temple of amusement and antertainment, yet, also from the comfort of one's armchair, a place to pause, watch and reflect.
