Climb Monte Gazzirola (2116 meters) to both of its summits -- first in Italy, then a little higher in Switzerland. Said to be a nice place to pause for lunch, but watch out for sandwich-stealing sheep. The trail then leads to Monte Bar Mountain Hut with magnificent views over Lake Lugano/Ceresio.
