The Bude Formation is a spectacular geoliogical cliffscape which forms part of the South West Coastal Path. We were given a tour by a leading geologist, Dr Roger Higgs who has studied and written about this unique rock formation. His knowledge and enthusiasm for his subject and the area more generally provided us with a fascinating few hours. Roger is a wonderful guide and manages to use his expertise to explain the history and evolution of teh Bude Formation to non-geoleogists. A highly recommended and unique experience is this most beautiful coastal stretch.
