What travellers are saying
- matt hGrosse Pointe, MI4 contributionsEverything about this beautiful Caribbean island has already been written so I'll focus on two areas. 1) we made a beeline via trams for Serenity Bay and it was beautiful and truly serene as the name implies. We were a party of 8 adults (half in their 50's and half in their 20's) and after a couple of hours it was TOO SERENE so we headed back to the 'crowds' where there was still plenty of room, chairs and umbrellas just like at Serenity Bay. 2) the lunch spots are all very nice but we found the food a bit more adult-like at the Serenity Bay lunch spot. Luckily arrived just before 11:30 and had no line (it was quite a queue when we were leaving). This location had ribeye steaks and teriyaki salmon plus a few salads that I did not see at the Cookies BBQ locations and you can still eat with your toes in the sand or take a plate back to your lounge chair/umbrella.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - honorableyVero Beach, FL116 contributionsTook a day trip here from Marsh Harbour, and it was the highlight of our trip. Next time we come to the Abaco's we will stay in Hopetown on Elbow Cay!

- krash5150Austin34 contributionsHiking the nearly 100 steps to the top of the lighthouse is well worth it just to see the views. They now have two cute gift shops near for great souvenirs. Then grab a ferry across the small harbor to explore picturesque Hope Town.Written 9 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura PBentonville, AR14 contributionsJust amazing! Did not want to leave. Loved being able to walk around to the Atlantic and watch the waves and surf. The shallow island that appears at low tide is breathtaking.Written 1 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Islandprincess28Palm Beach, FL288 contributionsThe white sand, aqua clear water....you can sit and play in for hours. Not much current so it is truly enjoyable. Just a few steps for food and drink at coco’s. Beach umbrellas, volleyball and a variety of water sports to partake in!Written 19 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Phil JPowhatan, VA384 contributionsLincoln Jones and his family have been taking visitors out for a fun filled day for over 30 years. They will pick you up by boat for a few hours of fishing in the most beautiful waters you have ever seen. After that the son or nephew running the boat will jump over and go spear fishing for 4-6 fresh lobster. Then you go into to feed the sharks and stingrays in the cove. While we were enjoying some rum punch they cooked up our catch and served us the best meal we had all week in the very cool picnic area right off the beach. The trip was $110 per person from 10:00am-4:00pmWritten 12 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SDR90278Redondo Beach, California, Usa48 contributionsIt's always nice to find people dependably doing their jobs well and with a smile, like Nigel, who was our captain when we took Lowe's Green Turtle Cay Ferry. The ferry runs on time and is affordable. The boatman also helped us and our bags unload safely.Written 9 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
