Socially-responsible tourists have a blast touring Mayatan Bilingual School, where they drop in on classes, talk with local kids in English, and learn about how this women-founded, volunteer-staffed, scholarship school is changing the future of this rural community. Mayatan frequently hosts scheduled tours, and we also welcome tourists who just decide to drop in. We're located on the road that goes to the Bird Park, just a 5 minute taxi ride from downtown Copan.
