Grocka is a municipality of 70,000 people located some 15 km from Belgrade. It is easily accessible by bus, but for a quicker trip a car is not a bad option. Grocka is full of fertile land, hence over the years it has developed into an agricultural center in the region. Primarily a visitor will come across plenty of orchards and vineyards. I suggest a visit during spring and fall.

Novo Groblje is a testament to the past two centuries of Serbian history. After more than one century of operation, a number of generations have been buried there. The cemetery is the final resting place of many statesmen, politicians, scientists and artists.
