You should definitely visit when you come to Ohrid.
It has a path up to the church. It might be a little tiring for elderly people but the view is so amazing. You can spend the whole day there just for the view.

From the Southeast corner of the lake to the mountain peak is a 16 kilometer walk. There are a couple observation decks on the way with view of the lake, city and sunsets. You'll come across a lot of wildlife: snakes, tortoises and lizards. There is a possibility you could see a Brown bear, wolves, wild boars or the Balkan lynx. Also, many species of birds and plants. When reaching the peak, everything is amazing and beautiful. Having a snake hook is a plus.

first of all, the surroundings are absolutely stunningly beautiful. and to sit there and drink these good wines with a little cheese was a dream experience for me, who loves wine and cheese. this is an experience I can really recommend. Philip who owns the place is a super nice and knowledgeable host who made this experience a lifetime memory.

This museum shows how people used to live on 'stilted houses' in Lake Ohrid. It was a very unique experience to see how they used to live and 'work'.

I'm told Saint Climent of Ohrid is the most sacred in the region. An ancient Byzantine church sits that overlooks the Lake Ohrid. Plaoshnik, an archeologic site, is located in front of the church. Everything is beautiful and inexpensive tariff.

Ohrid has been printing paper since the 16th century and this museum-cum-shop has one of only two copies of the Gutenberg Press in the world. Staff are on hand to give a demonstration of the paper-making process (in excellent English), and the teeny museum also sells handmade paper products such as pretty gift bags and notebooks.

Since excavation works continue not many parts are visible to the public, however, the nearby buildings seemed to bring hope that in the nearest future, the place could become more interesting, educational, and informative for tourists.
Currently, there is the possibility to see the church, as well as some of the recent results from restauration works. There is, however, a lack of information about what can be seen.
