What travellers are saying
- RaginCajun79Dallas, GA159 contributionsWe stopped by on our 2nd day in the area and Keri was very helpful to us for making our plans for what we wanted to see in the area. - FLWfanLac du Flambeau, WI704 contributionsThis trail is right across the road from our rental. Nice level trail and boardwalk with many benches if you need to take a break. We saw an armadillo and saw/heard many birds. Easy to spend an hour or two here getting some steps in.Written 14 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amy WBoulder, CO11 contributionsWe wandered around the Wharf when the weather was not great for swimming being at the beach/pool. A variety of shops and activities. The kids got an ice cream, but we went elsewhere for a meal as the options were limited.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tammy MBenton, LA18 contributionsWe went as a family with two teenagers, so not the target audience, but they wanted to do the glow golf, which was fun. The outdoor golf course was a little too warm, and at one point we saw a snake on the course, but that wasn't their fault. We had bought tickets to do a water bumper thing, but nobody was working there, so we skipped it. The go-carts were fun, however.Written 4 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tansy2015Michigan336 contributionsMarch is hit and miss for warm weather. We missed it, only in the 50,s the week we were here. But the sun is very warm and if you put your back to a dune and get out of the wind it’s really warm. The water temperature was warmer than the air so you could swim and be warm as the air was frigid.Written 19 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tansy2015Michigan336 contributionsA popular beach and rightly so. The state maintains nicely, but trash is everywhere. We always bring a bag and try to do our part even though we aren’t the ones making the mess. It was very windy and red flags were up, but you could still collect some nice shells and wade in the water.Written 19 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - allifromWIWest Bend, WI292 contributionsThere was a wonderful young woman inside the nature center who had a ton of information about the park and the animals that inhabit it. She held a snake so my friend could pet it (better her than me). There were also turtles, tiny alligators, a brown bat, a skink, some fish... We saw WAY more animals here than we did in the park, but it was a chilly day and probably not the best time of year to visit. I'm very glad we stopped there.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andy HEvansville, IN238 contributionsThis was a neat little museum. It wasn’t very big, and only takes around an hour or so. That said it was a good museum about the local history. The curator was friendly, and very informative. Worth a stop if your in the area.Written 26 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Samuel M5 contributionsGreat priest. Very welcoming church to those of us that are visiting. They have a Friday fish fry, hosted by the K of C that is good and supports a good cause.Written 10 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
