What an experience, we did two nights in the park and three days driving round ourselves.
Unbelievable to experience, this massive park 3rd biggest in Africa.
We saw a number of animals, Elephants, Zebra, Hogwarts, Kudu, DugBeatles Rhinos, Buffalo, Monkeys, Baboons, Turtles, Mongooses, Eland, and the list goes on.

Most of the animals were need the watering holes so make note of that.

Also love the point scoring sheet you are given to tick off every you see.

    Loved every minute of it.

We rode our bikes into the Tsitsikamma National Park. After lunch at the Cattle Baron Grille and Bistro, we took a nearby path to get to the suspension bridge. Lots of stairs, well maintained, up and down to get there. Beautiful bridge. Lovely views. A few hygrax , related to the elephant of all creatures, up on the rocks as we were crossing the bridge.

We had the most amazing 3 days at Shamwari.
Stayed at Bayethe, please see my detailed review.
Our experience was absolutely incredible, beyond our expectations.
Ruan was our guide, he is exceptionally knowledgeable on all aspects of wildlife & nature, it was our great pleasure to have had 6 varied drives with him, we could not have wished for more, including all the laughs we had along the way!
Ruan is also a very talented photographer, he is a tremendous asset to both Shamwari & Bayethe.
    Hope to return one day.

We went on a tour with African experience from port Elizabeth cruise terminal. It was a very very hot 🥵 day. The predators and herds are separated due to space I guess. The roads off the main trail are very bumpy indeed ! Our tour guide was great. The cafe was good very friendly efficient service

Absolutely stunning scenery and driving. Mountains and plains, experience a slice of the Karoo. Relatively quiet compared to national parks boasting the Big Five, mountain zebra is as much about its scenery, clean air, and experiencing the high plains as it is about its animals.

Herds of springbok and red hartebeest roam the plains, with wildebeest, jackals and ground squirrels. An abundance of birds to enjoy too.

The accommodation was modern by SanParks standards - make sure you select a place with a view as some views looked far better than others and it was priceless watching the sunset over the mountains unencumbered.

Two good pools to choose from and a good restaurant, it was a really relaxing and beautiful place.

We were recommended this game drive by the owner of our lodge near Addo and were not disappointed. Being a private game reverse the change to see the animals is huge and the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great organisation and we had a lovely dinner.

The accommodation of the lighthouse villa was exceptional and extraordinary! It couldn't have been more perfect for our Honeymoon. Lin, the manager and host does an amazing job with her team at making sure all your needs are met and your stay is comfortable. Real value for money. The location and views from the villa are unparalleled. Definitely would recommend as a honeymoon or romantic destination with your partner - the whole team really went out of their way to make our stay as memorable and as special as possible.

Beautiful trail, rewarded by the waterfall, but tricky if you have dodgy knees/hips and ankles.
It was worth the 1 hour hike there, and 1 hour back.
    Beautiful coast line.
Quite windy but sunny on our visit. Bring sunblock.
Avoid sandals, take hiking boots/shoes, or trail running shoes.
