What travellers are saying
- Roger BellLondon, UK3 contributionsAn iconic symbol of history and architectural brilliance, stands proudly over the River Thames, weaving tales of centuries gone by. Having recently visited this timeless marvel, I am compelled to share the awe-inspiring experience that awaits those who venture to explore its grandeur.
From the moment you set eyes on London Bridge, its commanding presence leaves an indelible impression. The current structure, completed in 1973, is a modern incarnation that pays homage to its predecessors while seamlessly blending with the contemporary skyline. The clean lines and elegant simplicity of the design showcase the bridge's commitment to both form and function.
Crossing the bridge offers a panoramic view of the Thames River and the city beyond, providing a picturesque vantage point for capturing the essence of London. The juxtaposition of historic landmarks and modern architecture creates a visual tapestry that reflects the city's rich and diverse history.
Beneath the surface, the bridge conceals a treasure trove of stories. Visitors can delve into the history of its predecessors, each with its own unique narrative. The medieval bridge, immortalized in the famous nursery rhyme, and its successor, the Victorian-era bridge, have all played integral roles in shaping London's identity.Written 13 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Can Am side by side ran perfect and we were able to to make our route through Standard Wash & Mojave wash in very good time.Written 6 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JAMA293Phoenix64 contributionsI wish I had started my trip here. The center has a short entertaining movie about the history of the London Bridge. There are many photo ops available in the center - phone booths, crowns, tiaras, etc. Also has maps of the area and lots of souveniers.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrsfluffernutterMinneapolis, MN10 contributionsThere is so much to do in this beautiful park! We stayed in our RV as part of a rally on the Rodeo grounds. From here, we could hike, mountain bike, play disc golf and more! Plus the RC airfield, BMX trails, a shooting range, beautiful dog parks, and stunning scenery all around.
Our favorite excursion included a mountain bike ride out to the Crack (slot canyon) then a hike out to the Lake (green/easy trails, SW on Watershed Loop, then connect with the Red Trail til we came down into the Yellow Trail) and hiked through the Crack - so fun!)
Wear your hiking shoes, sunblock, and bring water!Written 22 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The app says pet welcome but an old man scolded me and said there are no dogs allowed and made me cry. London bridge is more pet and people friendlyWritten 31 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Elizabeth W12 contributionsBeautiful park. We stayed in section 3B in a 30 ft travel trailer. Wonderful view of the lake. Lots of kayaks, boats, n other water activities. Very close to London Bridge, parks, shopping, n restaurants. Bathrooms more than adequate. Lovely cactus garden. We will return!!Written 12 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rex VBishop, CA1 contributionI'm from California and omg 😲 this place is pretty awesome . The camp ground is very well kept , restrooms and showers are clean . The staff are very helpful and polite including the head ranger . When we had an issue with some fellow campers being to loud after hours he moved us and addressed the issue . So much better than CALIFORNIA
where they just tell you to live with it . Thank you Arizona for the Great HospitalityWritten 29 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nice and windy hence cool in warm months. No entrance fee. There is also a Bill Williams trail up mountain but I don’t want to drive a gravel road (1.5 mile) with a rental car.Written 11 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lauralane17Colorado Springs, CO63 contributionsWe thoroughly enjoyed our dinner which was more Tex-Mex than genuine Mexican—-which is exactly what we wanted. We’re from FL and havent yet developed a taste for the REAL Mexican. Our server was adorable and efficient. The hostess, very welcoming.Written 25 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kristy-21Canada4 contributionsA great hike. 8km hike taking over three hours. Wear shoes with good tread. We did the yellow to blue trail and it was beautiful. Nicely marked. Only the yellow trail there is a spot where you need to use a rope to get down/up. May not be as dog friendly as you think. Lots of parking.Written 1 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- orcasgalOrcas Island, WA518 contributionsThese smaller replica lighthouses recalled many of the larger original ones we had viewed in 60 years of traveling. The sunset cruise is a nice way to see many of the replicas.Written 20 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
