What travellers are saying
- Erin TSandy, UT36 contributionsSpa pools are always a hit, but the price is crazy high! Pools on last weekend of Sept 23’ were buuuusy! The whole town is charming and the shops are fun. Restaurants are a good mix! From pizza to Mexican food, burgers and bbq, you name it, they’ve got it! Tube rentals are easy and fun! The roof top bar is loud and you can hear it projected across the whole town till midnight so if you’re looking for quiet Lava Hot Springs on the weekend ain’t it! Another noise attraction is the freight trains! Every hour on the hour at night they grace you with their blaring horns and screeching rails! But it’s no buggy! Highlite is the Olympic pool and indoor pools! They were kid friendly, spacious and clean! I feel like lava is that fun weekend getaway where everybody just has so much fun!Written 1 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GrandTour452506194 contributionsWe always have fun here at the pool. We were here for a large family reunion. We set up 6 pop up canopies and 3 tables full of food. Little kids have a lot of fun thins to do in their own area. We can come and go as we please. This works good when some want to leave for a while to float the river thru town.
One note is that the website is very convoluted on how to purchase tickets online ahead of time. This is one of a VARY few websites hat won't let your purchase WITHOUT making a password etc. When I called the pool to ask about my issues the "supervisor" I talked to said "Yeah, I wouldn't know, I don't have to buy my tickets online". No help there. Maybe if she did have to she would see how bad it is. Maybe get some better IT people to make it easier to get tickets.Written 17 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nancy B47 contributionsSo pretty, so clean and uncrowded. We enjoyed the pools from moderately hot to lobster pot! Having been to Europe, I wish there had been a way to plunge into the nearby cold river too.
The changing room was kept well and the prices are very fair.Written 28 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Hosts were cordial and the inn looked like someplace we might stay. Not crowded, but quiet and clean. I'm guessing there will be upkeep on the decks during the warmer weather. Will come back here again.Written 17 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Robert ASalt Lake City, UT1,084 contributionsA very nice facility!
Heated floors around the lockers, and in the restrooms. The water was heated to a very comfortable temperature. Not too warm, certainly not on the cool side.
As a lifelong swimmer, The facility and the water was top notch. The climbing wall is a fun touch, as well as two or three basketball hoops for water games.
The facility is very clean. It seems to be very well-maintained. The ventilation is excellent, while you can smell a little bit of the chlorine, it is certainly not overwhelming.
The staff was very pleasant. They were accommodating on some of the water toys, and very helpful to explain options.
Looking forward to returning next year.Written 25 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a lot of info displayed in a bit of a hellter skelter way explaining to origin of the town and its history over the years. For the price of a dollar a person this is well worth the visit if you have the time.
A walk through the town is also recommended in the summer, it is very active.Written 9 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I came in and bought some perfumes and now that I am at work I have never gotten more compliments about how I smell. Unfortunately, I live 3 hours away. I am looking into trying to get some shipped to me ;)Written 26 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
