What travellers are saying
- Judy R5 contributionsThe Wyeth abstracts and childrens' book author displays were wonderful.
Walkin along the river is always beautiful as are the views of it inside the Museum.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The setting is lovely and the people who run the winery are terrific. My husband enjoyed trying a great number of their wines and bought a couple of bottles, too.Written 25 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - coyotebanjoLubbock, Texas169 contributionsExcellent, small, well-curated historic site. Friendly and knowledgeable folks, NPS rangers and interpreters. Visited on a rainy weekday morning, so the level of attendance was small, but both interpreters and gift shop staff were cheerful and outgoing. Recommended.Written 28 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SJEKVoorhees, NJ367 contributionsHave a great experience with River doing the "Festive Faves" tasting. Very personable, engaging and knowledgeable. Had some wine flights in the tasting room - would have appreciated more interaction and information in this setting. Overall, a very nice experience.Written 20 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- F4981JCmichaelsVancouver, WA2,105 contributionsAs antique stores go, this one was worth the stop. There are two floors. In the lower floor is a small rock shop, with prices at, or slightly higher than market value, but still good samples. I got a few. Other merchandise prices were similar, depending upon the vendor. The merchandise available on both floors is quite varied. The people working here are great, really fun people. Parking is ample.Written 6 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- jredwoodSan Diego, CA561 contributionsThis is a charming Wyeth museum near Philadelphia celebrating some of the lesser known and spectacular works of this incredibly talented family, including other Wyeth family aside from NC, Andrew and Jamie. There are other exhibits there as well and the grounds along the River are tranquil and beautiful. I imagine in the summer, it’s breathtaking. It was cold when e we went. Great shop too. We went at 3pm so stayed until five when it closed.Written 28 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Madeleine LBoston, MA74 contributionsIt’s a quirky and interesting little museum. There are artifacts from the time of the Revolutionary War, sketches by the Wyeths, and so many things in between.Written 20 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sdhcpaChadds Ford, PA29 contributionsA great place to spend a rainy day. Room after room of fun and crazy items. No one bothers you, just explore.Written 23 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cliff M1 contributionI inherited a few nice shotguns. I no longer hunt so I went to a couple of shops to see what they would pay for 2 of the guns. One is a very nice Winchester Model 21, 16 ga, side by side. The Sportsman Shop in East Earl PA offered me $3000 in person, inspecting the gun. Same situation at Targetmaster in Chadds Ford I was offered $500! I expect offers to vary but that is ridiculous. I never write reviews but I hope I can help the next guy avoid going to Targetmaster.Written 27 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
