Owner description:
Permanent exhibits include Landscapes and Lifeways, comparing the present landscape with the Piedmont of the 1400s, before European exploration and settlement. The interactive River Gallery lets visitors get their hands wet. More than 200 mounted African animals and an outstanding collection of African artifacts provide unique learning opportunities. The Museum of York County also is home to the Vernon Grant Gallery, devoted to the creator of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies characters Snap! Crackle! Pop!.
