This is one of the smaller Air Force museums. The planes and other displays are well-done, showing some highlights of what they due at Hill AFB.

So fun and not super crowded. Gorgeous day in the Fall! Super clean facility. Super helpful with guests not super crowded easy stroller access. We absolutely love to doing the gem mining. Best part of the whole trip.

Our focus was the Utah State Railroad Musueum. There are locomotives outside with some rolling stock. Steam, diesel, and turbine locomotives. Good signage. Inside is good as well. Huge model railroad layout. One admission gets you into several museums in the Ogden Union Station. Plan on 3 or more hours.

It’s a really cute little place to take the kids.
I think there is enough diversity and fun to keep your kid entertained for a while, mine is 6 and he has a lot of fun. I think kids under 10 especially would enjoy it. Admission is really fair too.
My one complaint is it becomes a bit of a maze of you don’t use the stairs to keep up with the kiddos. It is accessible but can be a harder trip. There are some quieter areas like the little hut if you need an area to chill out for a bit while your kid plays inside too.

This garden is a nice place to visit. It is small and free to visit, but you will get some nice pictures on a sunny day. The gardens are a little run down, but there were workers there maintaining the garden while we were there. It is a nice place to visit, and you probably won't spend long here. But nice scenery, and it is free, but nothing extravagant.

The museum experience is very relaxed; you go at your own pace. Even though it is small, it packs in a ton of information. I appreciated the focus on history of BIPOC employees in the railroad industry. It also covers western expansion and gives information on the Mormon and not Mormon settlements that grew up around the SLC area. Outside, the trains were amazing to look at and if you are lucky like we were, you can go inside an Army medical car and a post office car. Will return again!

25th Street is the most historic and accessible part of Ogden. we enjoyed strolling down the street, through the central city park, and along some of the nearby avenues, which had not nearly as much character. We were surprised by the number of apparently homeless on the streets in the area but they kept to themselves. Plenty of restaurants - not that many interesting shops though.

Not only is there a great Browning exhibit but this location has a classic car, railroad, and small cowboy exhibit all located in the old Union Station

We would have never come because honestly it looked boring in pictures. But we had free tickets and I’m so glad we went. Our kids (age 6, 2, and 1) had a great time exploring. We were able to take our stroller everywhere. In the visitor center there is a playroom with toys, stuffed animals, crafts, blocks, and a few reptiles. There are also clean bathrooms. We just did the small loop and the kids liked climbing on the play structures and finding all the nooks in the trees to hide in. I noticed there is a water feature for the hot summer days. They loved seeing all the birds of prey. Each had a sad story of being found injured which is why they are there. We even got to see an eagle sitting on eggs. We spent 1.5 hours just doing that. Didn’t see a lot of wildlife except some ducks and a goose but the kids had fun. We especially loved all the birdhouses that people made. Admission is a fair price and we would recommend it for families with small kids.

I do a fair bit of hiking but this trail is a fair bit more challenging than what I'm used to back in Ohio. The terrain varies from hard pack to loose rock and the vertical assent definitely gets the blood pumping. My buddy Paul and I set out in late morning in July and the temperature hit 85F on the way up. But wow, what a reward we had once we made it to the waterfall. The cool mist was so refreshing and the views were spectacular. This ended up being my favorite hike of the summer.

Super nice clean and calm, I love how even when it’s busy you still have your own space away from others. My daughter loved it and we will be going every year

I saw a band there on May 15 2018 and had one of the best concert event of my life. I was a Mowtown Review show at no cost to enter. Families young and old were dancing in the isles.
