The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC) is the largest cultural organization in the Inland Northwest with 5 underground galleries, an orientation gallery, cafe, store, education center, community room and the Center for Plateau Cultural Studies. The MAC campus also includes the historic 1898 Campbell House, library & archives, an auditorium and outdoor amphitheater. The exhibits and programs focus on three major disciplines: American Indian and other cultures, regional history and visual art. The MAC is an Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and is accredited by the American Association of Museums. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. First Friday open by donation 5 to 8 p.m. Closed Mondays and major holidays.

A special room on the campus of Gonzaga University is dedicated to remembering the city's native son and famous crooner Bing Crosby, with over 150 items of memorabilia ranging from his gold and platinum records to his best actor Oscar for "Going My Way." Bing's nearby home, now the university's alumni hall, has more memorabilia.
