What travellers are saying
- TAMAN1951Liberty Lake, WA6,626 contributionsLoved the varied presentation of art.
Carvings by indigenous people were very well done.
The paintings by Moran were the inspiration for the Tetons becoming a national park.
A real privilege to view.
The African art was breathtaking.Written 20 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The open air sleigh tour provides a great viewing platform that allows close proximity to the elk. The sleigh drivers provide a great briefing, very informative and very personable.Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 63KathydWinter Haven, FL889 contributionsBeautiful town square. Love the antler corners. There was ice skating when we were there as well. Lots of snow which added to the twinkling lightsWritten 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sharon KUnited Kingdom28 contributionsThis was our first time at a rodeo and we enjoyed the experience and the fun it provided for old and young folk alike. The staff (we spoke to) were all pleasant and it was nice to see a mixed back of all kinds of folks all enjoying the rodeo evening.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Debbie WMcAlester, OK66 contributionsIt was last June 2023. One of our favorite hikes. We hiked good many trails in The Tetons but this is my personal favorite. Were going back June 2024 and this time we'll take a little radio so I don't have to worry about bears plus a nice picnic lunch. Like i said, my favorite hike.Written 18 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DavanrnSouth Bend, IN758 contributionsThe top of the mountain affords spectacular vistas and views. Viewing platforms. There are numerous trails on top for hiking from easy to strenuous.Written 22 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard RJensen Beach, FL52 contributionsThis ranked among the best decisions in a wonderful week in Wyoming! The dinner was delicious and the entertainment by the wait staff during dinner was well done. These folks can belt out a song! Then it was on to the lobby where snacks are sold for the show and to be introduced to the performers. And, yes, there is a bar. We were shown to our reserved seats by the performers. The show was Annie Get Your Gun, a perfect western-hemed musical for our time out west - IDEAL. I can't say enough about how good the performers were. They were all very talented singers, dancers and actors - and it was loads of FUN! Dinner is optional, but we are so glad we included it. If you have a bigger appetite, go with the beef brisket rather than the chicken. Dessert is an additional fee, but our beverage was included. The theater is 1 block from the town square. This playhouse is a must-do!Written 18 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 63KathydWinter Haven, FL889 contributionsWe arrived by dog sled-it was magical. Great way to warm up after a cold ride. Absolutely loved it-not very crowded when we were there and beautiful in the snowWritten 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hale FOxford, MS431 contributionsLess crowded. He had to stop the vehicle to let the Bison heard pass through. The pronghorn heard were close by the road as well. A beautiful area in Jackson Hole.Written 17 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James RTruckee, CA6 contributionsOn my way to visit the 'mother ship' last week in October, when I go to Yellowstone and Grand Teton parks. I have 25 of Tom's images and met him a few years before I knew who he was as we both captured images of pelicans landing on a river in Y'stone. Very excited to see the parks again, as well as the Jackson galleryWritten 8 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TAMAN1951Liberty Lake, WA6,626 contributionsSupposedly assembled by the Boy Scouts but domestically say they have primarily shifted to collecting elk antlers at the nearby elk refuge and sell them to the general population using the funds for various good causes.
In any case, the arches are a focal point and a great photo opportunity in Jackson Hole.Written 22 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This was a very nice chapel for the times it was built. The stained glass windows were beautiful. It was nice to be in this small house of God, that had a simple altar with a cross in the window out upon the Grand Tetons.
(only thing that marred that view were some large black flies all on the window, though. They went after the brightest light, after coming in through the swinging door.)
Still, we donated a few dollars and got a few really picturesque post cards.Written 31 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
